Description
Avana-200 is an oral drug for the treatment of sexual dysfunction that is fast acting and has minimal side effects. The drug is produced by Sunrise Remedies and contains the active substance Avanafil. It belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors that are used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men.
Avanafil Effects
Avanafil is a selective PDE5 inhibitor found in corpus cavernosum muscle, prostate, bladder, vascular and visceral smooth muscle, skeletal muscle, urethra, platelets, kidney, lung, cerebellum, heart, liver, testis, seminal vesicle, and pancreas. By inhibiting the action of PDE5, the drug improves erectile function whenever sexual stimulation is present. The medication expands the blood vessels in the body, predominantly in the genital area, allowing for the amount of blood flow needed for an erection to occur.
Application and dosage of Avanafil
Sunrise Remedies produces Avanafil in 200 mg tablets that are taken orally. The maximum recommended dose for men is 1 tablet of 200 mg every 24 hours. It should be taken with or without food and approximately 15 minutes before sexual activity for maximum drug effectiveness.
